TAKING ROOT

Producer | 2021-2022

A collaborative community growing project using technology and nature to explore the relationship that people living in the UK have with bamboo.

 

Conceived by Ling Tan and Orit Azaz, produced by Imagineer in partnership with the University of Birmingham Public Engagement team and Winterbourne House. 

​

Director's Assistant

2021

Director's Assistant to Orit Azaz for the 2021 national tour of Bridge with Imagineer Productions.

 

A large-scale multi-arts installation encompassing circus performance, community workshops, and engagement.

Producer | 2019

Part of the producing team curating a weeklong exchange between US and UK arts and Tech innovators at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. 

 

Participants included executive producers in Google's AR/VR team, managers at Netflix, human rights specialists, and A-list celebrities.

BE FESTIVAL

Marketing & Press Producer

2017-2019

Managed the marketing and PR campaigns for Birmingham’s European arts festival at Birmingham Repertory Theatre.

 

This included their UK tours to venues such as The Lowry, Slung Low, Jackson's Lane, Circomedia, and GIFT.

2017

Oversaw the smooth running of multiple shows and volunteers programmed across multiple venues including Birmingham Hippodrome, mac Birmingham and the Loft.

Learning and Participation Producer

2017-2018

Supported the delivery of workshops developed to give access to arts opportunities to 14-19-year-olds. Week-long workshops connected young people from Birmingham with international theatre makers.

 

Facilitated Bronze and Silver Arts Award programme.

2018

Assistant producer to Sarah-Jane Watkinson for Sleepwalk Collective's show exploring high art and celebrity. Toured to HOME Manchester and Battersea Arts Centre.
